We strive to breed healthy dogs for show and pet. We receive alot of calls for puppies, sometimes people are amazed at the price of a well bred French Bulldog. “But we just want a pet” they say. You want a French Bulldog that looks like a French Bulldog. I have seen a few badly bred Frenchies, long noses, bad ears, long legs, long tails, and huge! DO NOT bargain shop for a Frenchie. Or for any breed. You get what you pay for. If you buy from a back yard breeder/ puppymill/pet store, your opening yourself up to alot of heartache and hundreds, if not thousands of dollars, trying to save your dog. Buy from a Breeder, that shows their dogs and does their health testing. Ask to see health records on both parents, hips, patellas, heart, spine, and eyes.
AND beware the so called “Breeder” that sells a puppy or dog for more money because of its color! There is a new fad color , MERLE, French Bulldogs do not carry this color. French Bulldogs that at Merle are not PUREBRED!!!!!
